Saturdays only: Salt Spring’s Famous Saturday Market

Walk in Mouat Park accessed past Artspring Theatre

Food truck: Al’s Falafel and Poutine Truck on Rainbow Rd. Friday (just down from Mahon Hall) and in market on Saturday

Gasoline Alley (parallel to Centennial Park behind Ganges Gas) – variety of food options including DelVecchio Pasta Fresca, plus lots of eclectic boutiques.

Restaurants: Auntie Pesto’s in Grace Point Square, Tree House Cafe (between Mouat’s buildings – go early as it’s always busy), Salt Spring InnRock Salt Restaurant & Cafe (in Fulford).

In the south end of the island: Hike in Ruckle Park and visit Kizmit Galleria/Cafe  

Groceries: Thrifty’s Foods (7:30 am – 9 pm) just a block from Mahon Hall.

Liquor Store: at Thrifty’s, open til 11 pm.
